DC Access was founded in 1999 out of the same frustrations faced by our customers each and every day with the big national internet providers.
Founders Matt and Martha – both with years of experience in technology and telecommunications – wanted better for themselves and their neighbors. DC Access was born to provide Washington, DC with a better choice – one founded in good customer service and reliable connections.
Matt – Founding Partner
Matt is a founding partner and passionate about technology that simply works. Matt oversees all technical matters of DC Access, including, network expansion and leading our installation and technical service team. Fun fact - Matt comes from a family of horsemen – they race harness horses full time!
Rachman Holdman joined DC Access in February 2018 as the Network Infrastructure Manager. Rachman oversees the day to day network operations while coordinating and executing special projects. Prior to joining DC Access, Rachman spent 12 years in various IT consulting roles. A native of Chicago, IL, Rachman is an avid film buff and budding foodie who enjoys great food and good movies with family and friends.
Barbara Santos is our morning customer service specialist. She is ready to take your call or email from 8am - 12pm. Barbara was born in a small town in Portugal, where she studied social work. She enjoyed working in a retirement center as a social worker for over 7 years, then moved to England in 2017 to work in child protective services. In 2021, she moved to North Carolina and is now embracing other skills and challenges working for DC Access. As all good Portuguese, cheese and wine are her favorites.
