DC Access was founded in 1999 by Matt and Martha, two technologists who were tired of the endless frustrations of big national Internet providers. They wanted a company built on what mattered most: good service, reliable connections, and a personal touch.
Today, our team continues that mission—bringing fast, dependable Internet to DC homes and businesses with the kind of customer service only a local provider can deliver.

Matt – Co-Founder
With years of experience in technology and telecommunications, Matt built the technical backbone of DC Access. He’s passionate about creating a network that’s both reliable and resilient for DC residents.
Martha – Co-Founder
Martha brings deep expertise in operations and customer service. She believes every customer deserves to feel heard, and she’s the reason DC Access is known for its responsiveness and neighborly support.

Our Team
We’re a small but mighty crew of DC locals who believe Internet should be simple, not stressful. When you call us, it’s one of us on the other end—real people who care about our community. We’re proud to live, work, and stay connected right alongside you.
Tony is an expert at installing internet and TV for residential single-family homes and small businesses. Tony is a DC native and has been a member of the DC Access team since 2010. When he’s not on your roof or getting you wired, you’ll find him with a fishing rod in hand.

Darnell grew up in Capitol Hill near Providence Park. He attended University of the District of Columbia and later transferred to Career Technical Institute where he received his Diploma in Microsoft Certified Systems Administration (MCSA). Darnell is CompTIA A+ certified.
