Washington, DC – In cooperation with Urban Investment Partners (UIP), DC Access is now providing Wireless Internet to the Shelby, a 24-unit boutique-style apartment building located at 1706 T Street NW.

In late 2008, DC Access entered an agreement with UIP to provide WiFi to six multi-family units in Washington DC, starting with The Biltmore, located at 1940 Biltmore Street NW, in the Kalorama Historic Triangle. The Shelby is the second UIP property to be equipped for WiFi by DC Access, with the remaining four properties scheduled to come on line over the next 18 months.

“Partnering with UIP has allowed us to expand into Adams Morgan and Dupont Circle neighborhoods, which are new areas for us,” says Martha Huizenga, partner at DC Access. “Our services are a great fit for apartment buildings, and we’re excited to be working with UIP to provide local, affordable Wireless Internet to their residents.”

Through similar partnerships with several other local real estate companies, including Evolve LLC and Yarmouth Management, DC Access provides WiFi to a variety of multi-family properties in DC.
