Friendly, local WiFi is now faster than ever – prices remain the same.

Washington, DC – DC Access has increased WiFi speeds for customers at every service level. The increases double the speed for most DC Access subscribers. Those with the basic service level will see an increase from 500kbps to 1Mbps. Those at the highest service level will see a jump from 1.5Mbps to 2.5Mbps.

“This speed increase gives our current customers even greater value for their dollar, while allowing DC Access to remain competitive with national broadband providers,” says Martha Huizenga, partner at DC Access. “We pride ourselves on offering friendly, local service, and that’s still what sets us apart, but now our customers will also enjoy faster speeds.”

“We didn’t just increase speeds for our premium business customers because we understand that individual users also feel the need for speed more than they did just a few years ago,” says Matt Wade, president at DC Access. “Many of our customers are self-employed or work from home on a regular basis, and many more people are using their computers to watch movies, play games, and participate in social networking.”
