In an effort to serve our customers better, DC Access is pleased to announce a partnership with a national telecommunications carrier. Through this partnership DC Access is now able to provide dial-up Internet access throughout the United States. There will be more lines covering the DC metro area and you will be able to use local numbers to access the Internet even when you travel.
In order to make this change, the number (either 240-633-0012 or 571-625-0012)
that you currently dial is replaced by the following local DC metro area
numbers. During this transition, there may be a temporary interruption
of service in the italicized numbers. The numbers in bold will be available
throughout this time.

If you currently use either the 240 or 571 numbers, you can simply change those numbers the next time you dial DC Access (see the picture below). PLEASE NOTE: You must now use the "@dcaccess.net" with your user ID. As in the example below: User name is "mwade@dcaccess.net." You can find detailed instructions on changing your dial up settings on the DC Access website: www.dcaccess.net/welcome/welcome.htm
At any time you may access the DC Access website to lookup the DC Access dial-in numbers: www.dcaccess.net/dial/
