1. In the Finder, click Go >> Applications (Figure 1).

2. Open the Internet Connect program from the Applications window (Figure 2).

3. On the menu bar select File >> New VPN Connection (Figure 3).

4. Click PPTP and then Continue (Figure 4).

5. Enter vpn-master.tamu.edu for the Server address.
6. Enter your NetID for Account Name and your NetID password for Password.
7. The Show VPN status in menu baroption should be checked (Figure 5).

8. You can either Connect from this window or close it to connect at a later time.

1. To connect to the VPN server click the Internet Connect icon in the menu bar and select Connect (Figure 6).

2. While you are connected you will see the duration next to the Internet Connect icon in the menu bar (Figure 7).

3. To disconnect, click on the Internet Connect icon in the menu bar and select Disconnect (Figure 8).
